6 Zodiak yang Paling Susah Untuk Menyatakan Cinta

What You'll need: Login information for old and new hosting accounts (example: GoDaddy) Login information for your old and new MySQL database Third party file upload (FileZila) Text edit program (not a word processor like Microsoft Word) First and foremost - you are going to need to save your settings for the theme your using. I use Weaver Pro so I log in to the administration settings and click on the Save/Restore tab. I save all of my weaver theme settings to my desktop. STEP 2: Locate Your Current Database Log in to the hosting account for the CURRENT hosting where the website is located (the one you are moving the website OUT of). I use GoDaddy so I have more details regarding their steps but you can use this guide for most other hosting programs. Launch the hosting account Open your MySQL database and select the correct database. Click on your php admin and enter the database name and password. Hint: if you don't know what the password is you can either locate the password in the wp-config file or you can simply reset the password under "Details". This is located next to the php admin button under "Actions" in GoDaddy.

STEP 3: Export Your Current Database Once you are in your php admin, look at the left hand side of the screen. You will see at least 2 lines that have: 1. Your database name with a number in the parentheses and 2. "Information schema" with a number in the parentheses. Click on your database name. A table with appear in the main section. Below this table you will see "Check All" - click on that and all of the boxes will be checked. Go up to the top area and locate the "Export" Tab. Click on that tab. Toward the bottom of this area are the option for saving your exported database. Make sure you click on the zip option. Click "Go" and save to your desktop for easy location. NOTE: Follow Step 4 if the primary domain of your website is changing. If it will stay the same then you can skip this step and move onto step 5. STEP 4: Update the Domain Name Go to your desktop and locate the zip file you just saved. Unzip the file (for a mac just double click on it) and you will see a file appear that has your database name with the extension ".sql". Open this file with your text editor Open your find/replace tool. Type in the name of your current domain (the one you want to change) in the "Find" area. Next, type in the name of the domain you are changing your website to. Hit "Replace All" Save this file. STEP 5: Download Your Website's Files and Folders Open your FileZila or other third party file download program. Enter in the domain name of the hosting account (remember this is the hosting program we are no longer using but we need to get the files out of it first). Enter the FTP user and password. Note: you may need to login into your hosting (for example: login via GoDaddy and launch your hosting) and click on FTP Users to find this info. Once you have typed in this information, click on "Quick Connect" to access the folders and files in that hosting account. In the bottom area of the FileZila Screen you will see 2 sections side by side. We are going to work from the RIGHT hand side - this is your hosting account. Locate the folder of your website. Right click on the folder and select "Download". Note: Make sure you download the whole folder - it is much easier to keep all the files organized. This process takes a while - especially if you have a lot of content. Remember that if you access this hosting account through GoDaddy (or whichever company you use) while FileZila is downloading your files then it will automatically drop the connection. It's annoying so I suggest doing something else for a few minutes while these files download. Once it's all finished, move onto step 6

STEP 6: Upload Website Files into New Hosting Look to the LEFT section now in FileZila and scroll through the folders until you find the folder you just downloaded. Drag that whole folder onto your desktop just like you would if you were moving any kind of folder or file around on your desktop. Now we are going to access the NEW hosting account through FileZila. Please note that in order for us to complete this step, you will have to have your new domain in there first. Type in the domain for the NEW hosting account as well as the FTP user and password. Hit Quick Connect On the RIGHT hand section locate the folder of your new domain name. Keep the FileZila window open but go to your desktop and open up the folder we just downloaded. Select all of these files. Drag all of these files over to the FileZila window and make sure your mouse is on top of the new folder. Drop all the files into the new folder and FileZila will start the uploading process. IMPORTANT: I should point out that you need to open the folder on the desktop and select all of the items instead of just dragging and dropping the folder itself. The reason is because the folder is a "directory". So, if you dropped the folder labeled, for example, "Myoldwebsite" from your desktop in the folder of your new site labeled "Newwebsite" then the URL of the new site would be [http://www.newwebsite.com/myoldwebsite]. That's not what we want. We want the FILES to be in [http://www.newwebsite.com]. Wait until the files have completely finished uploading before moving onto the next step. STEP 7: Import Your Website's Databse Go to GoDaddy.com (or whichever hosting program you use) and launch the new hosting. Open up MySQL and log int to your php admin. Remember the.sql file we exported (and modified if applicable)? We are going to import that file. Go to the "Import" tab. You will see a button that says "Browse" - click on that and locate the.sql file. Note: don't import the zip file - it needs to say.sql. Click on "Go" in the lower right hand corner. The database should import at this time. Note: If you are replacing this database with another, then there will be files in there already. You need to check all and "drop" them first before proceeding. STEP 8: Update the Wp-config File Now we have to make sure the website is pointing to the correct database. Launch the new hosting account and select MySQL databases. Find the correct database and click on Actions. Select "Details" We will need to copy 3 items from this screen - database name, user name, and the host name Copy and past these into a text file. We are going to need them in the next step. Launch the new hosting FTP File Manager. Locate the folder for your new website and click on it. The files inside the folder should appear in a list. Select the file that says "wp-config.php" and click on "Edit" - usually located near the top. We need to replace the database name, user name, and host name with the information we just copied. This will make the website point to the new database we set up - not the one it just came from. STEP 9: Check your website. If all of these steps were done correctly then your website should appear in the new domain name. - If you are using Weaver II Pro, it's possible that some of the settings may not be working properly. Go to your admin and restore the settings you saved by clicking on the Save/Restore Tab.
